Step-by-step instructions to set up your EzHome smart devices
Before You Begin
- Download the EzHome app from Google Play Store
- Create your EzHome account
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz compatible
- Have your Wi-Fi password ready
Installation Steps by Device

Unpack the Echo Hub
Remove the Echo Hub from its packaging and locate the power adapter.

Connect to Power
Plug the power adapter into the Echo Hub and connect to a wall outlet. The LED will turn blue when powering on.

Open EzHome App
Launch the EzHome app and tap "Add Device" then select "Echo Hub".

Follow Setup Wizard
The app will guide you through Wi-Fi connection and voice training.

Test Voice Commands
Try saying "Hey EzHome, what's the weather?" to confirm setup is complete.
Tips
- Place hub centrally in your home
- Keep away from other electronics
- Ensure clear line of sight
- Setup takes about 5-10 minutes

Install Bulbs
Screw the smart LED bulbs into your existing light fixtures. Ensure power is off before installation.

Turn On Power
Switch on the light fixture. The bulb will flash briefly to indicate it's ready for pairing.

Add to App
In the EzHome app, tap "Add Device" → "Lighting" → "Smart LED Bulb".

Scan for Devices
The app will automatically detect nearby bulbs. Select your bulb from the list.

Name Your Bulb
Give your bulb a memorable name like "Living Room Lamp" or "Bedroom Light".

Turn Off Power
Switch off power to your HVAC system at the circuit breaker.

Remove Old Thermostat
Carefully disconnect wires from your existing thermostat and label them.

Install Base Plate
Mount the new thermostat base plate to the wall using provided screws.

Connect Wires
Connect labeled wires to corresponding terminals on the new thermostat.

Attach Thermostat
Snap the thermostat display onto the base plate and restore power.

App Setup
Add the thermostat to your EzHome app and configure heating/cooling preferences.

Choose Location
Select a location with good Wi-Fi signal and clear view of the area you want to monitor.

Mount Camera
Use the provided mounting bracket to secure the camera to wall or ceiling.

Connect Power
Plug in the power adapter or connect to existing wiring if hardwired model.

Download EzHome App
Install the EzHome app and create an account if you haven't already.

Scan QR Code
Use the app to scan the QR code on the camera for quick setup.

Configure Settings
Set up motion detection zones, recording preferences, and notification settings.
Common Issues & Solutions
Wi-Fi Connection Issues
- Ensure your network is 2.4GHz
- Check Wi-Fi password is correct
- Move device closer to router
- Restart your router
App Not Detecting Device
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone
- Grant location permissions to app
- Reset device to factory settings
- Update the EzHome app
Voice Commands Not Working
- Check microphone isn't muted
- Retrain voice recognition
- Reduce background noise
- Update device firmware
Device Won't Turn On
- Check power connections
- Verify outlet is working
- Try different power adapter
- Contact customer support
